As tomorrow we will skip the 10 AM Rosary in front of Ss Peter & Paul in Naperville, it is time to chronicle showing why we are taking a break: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuum5bq2svcI
5 of us prayed our regular 10 AM Sunday Rosary January 9, 2022 in front of Ss. Peter and Paul church in Naperville for complete and unconditional access to churches. The first such Sunday was Easter Sunday 2020.
God bless the Protestants who opened the churches in Illinois in May 2020. Too bad our Catholic bishops continue to cooperate with the government.
We again held Rosary for complete and unconditional opening of our Ss. Peter & Paul church in Naperville today August 8, 2021. We pray them at 10 AM every Sunday. Started on the cold Easter Sunday April 12, 2020 when our church was still locked. Today it is almost open, has signs on the doors from the bishop restricting access.
Had to sign up for tomorrow's mass as our daughter who used to do that goes to some other church these days:...Please sign us up for tomorrow's 4:30 PM Latin mass in Ss. Peter & Paul in Naperville.
Why is this sign up needed and who gets the names/dates and what is the stated purpose? What is the plan? How many millions of Americans will be persecuted for attending the mass?
Note that even in socialist Czechoslovakia we escaped from the communist persecutors kept their own watch and files on believers and employed full time secret police using our taxes for this purpose and we did not have to sign up for masses there. Masonic/communist/fascist "innovation" supported by the local bishop? If not, by whom? How much longer?
I have put yesterday's Rosary picture in the new group on 3 non-marxist platforms - this new group is called "Fight for USA Religious Freedom" on all these 3 platforms - see the new picture in any of the following three places:

I have a feeling those priests are pretty sympathetic... I wonder how much they are willing to do what you are asking... the ones I knew probably would do what you're praying for... maybe just ask? It's worth a shot?
Sure they are sympathetic, because they know better than any of the rest of us. So there is no need for me to put any additional pressure. Either they are for Christ and risk being fired or they choose to continue to be cowardly. Again, their choice without the need for my pressure.
You guys are doing God's work... keep it up. I'm curious, have you been able to engage the priests there in dialogue? My experience at that parish has always been a good one in the past.
Thanks, I think it was probably wise to delete that. I'll repost a modified version of my response to your post, which was concerned with trying to fight against the reopening plan of the Illinois Bishops.
We all need to be mindful that in some areas, there are other Catholic rites that have different Bishops who are allowing different regulations. Unfortunately Cupich has an inordinate amount of influence and may very well seek to quash whatever is happening in these other churches if it doesn't match his ridiculous limitations. So if you decide to write to your Bishop to make your voice heard about the ridiculousness of the Reopening Plan, please avoid making comparisons. This could have unintended consequences.I agree with you that Cardinal Cupich's plan (which he imposed on all the Illinois bishops) is in every way unacceptable. Right after it was first released, we denounced it both in the media and by marching to the diocesan offices to deliver a formal letter of rejection. However, just like it was with the shutdowns, Cupich has no interest in listening to the faithful or meeting their needs, and Pates has shown that he will do whatever causes him the least pain, which usually seems to mean doing whatever Cupich says. So...I do recommend that we keep pressuring Pates as much as possible. Let's flood his office with respectful letters that propose more sensible regulations!
I know...it's so disheartening, isn't it? Anyway your letter was to Pates, not Cupich. There are enough "other catholic churches in communion with Rome" that he probably won't take any time to try to ferret out which one you mean. :)
God bless you for taking the initiative to write to him. That is the important thing!
I just wrote a comment and then deleted it because I agree with the longer post that another wrote in response. However, after I deleted mine, it deleted the reply from the other before I got to really finish reading it. Could you please re send it if you could? I am so sorry! However, I think you had some important information to share that I should take heed of. Thank you!
My wife receives Ss. Peter & Paul emails. They offer only 4 massed during the weekend, there is no 7 PM Saturday mass at all. We did not get any spot in the advertised masses, so we will pray our usual Lockdown Rosary in front of Ss. Peter & Paul in Naperville this Sunday June 7 at 10 AM.
It sounds like you are watching the forbidden mass (which is behind the locked church door) online. I don't watch any of those and I can't decide for everyone who comes to the Rosary. Please come to the Rosary, at least for the end of it and if everyone there agrees to move the time, then I will try to figure out how to change it on St. Borromeo site, if at all possible.

A 7 pm Saturday night Latin mass has been added. Saints Peter & Paul sent its email about reopening and reservations.
Church web page still says they are waiting for permission (which everyone knows they do not need). Here are some pictures and video from our Rosary May 31: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.3240677599285357&type=3
So glad to be there praying! Hopefully we don't have to do this too much longer!!!
Attempt at live video from today's event (the signal is not the greatest there, apparently, we need to record it non-live next time) https://www.facebook.com/vladimir.sliva.3/videos/3221827281170389/
I will be there tomorrow with my 8 year old daughter. Thank you so much for organizing!

Thanks to all who participated despite the rain today!
Brining an umbrella.
Can we move it to 10:15/10:30? The mass is at 9 and it was challenging to get to the church by 10 last Sunday. God bless.
Hurrah! Thank you for sharing this photo!!! God bless you and Happy Mother's Day!
