    How to Post an Event

    in READ ME FIRST!

Hi guys! Welcome to our Forum! We want to support you in your grassroots efforts to restore the Mass and the Sacraments in your Diocese. If you would like to establish or advertise a Prayer Rally, here are some best practices, so that visitors can more easily find your post.

    1. You can see that there are subcategories for each state. DO NOT place your post in the general Prayer Rally category or in this "READ ME" category. Go to the subcategory for your state and create a post there.

    2. Name your post as follows: For existing events, use: "CITY: Location of Event, Date (or Dates)" To indicate interest in starting an event, use: "CITY: seeking event, proposed location and date" So for example, in the first instance, you might write "CHICAGO: Holy Name Cathedral, every Friday" In the second instance, you might write "ATLANTA: seeking Prayer Rally at Cathedral"

    3. If you are seeking an event and it becomes an event, please create a new post with a title as shown above, and in your original post direct others to the new event post.

    4. In creating an event post, be sure to indicate the location of the event, what day of the week, whether it is a one-time event or an ongoing one, and what time it is being held. Add any other important details, such as "be sure not to park on the street behind the church, you will be ticketed," or "please do not arrive before X," etc.

    5. If you discontinue an event, please have the courtesy to indicate this somewhere on the original posting, so that people don't show up to find no one there.

Thank you for your efforts to Open Our Churches!
